Since the game is down for maintenance I thought I'd take the time to ask some things that have been on my mind about the nemsis system. Two of my characters have defeated their nemesis and had them escape from the prison. I have heard that they'll return and you defeat them again for a final time and then you can create a new nemesis. But nothing has happened nemesis wise in about a week. /one hero is almost to level forty and the most I've seen is his nemesis minions appear when I'm fighting a mob and vanish just when I engage them. Is it bugged or did I miss something? Hi there, thanks for asking. The vanishing mob is curious and I hadn't encountered that before.IIRC, the 'final mission' takes place on Monster Island.

You probably already unlocked it. You also probably already know the minions drop clues which open the next stage of the Nemesis plotline.

Is it possible you have such a clue in your inventory right now? There is also a known bug, which occurs rarely, but it is very annoying and to my knowledge can only be fixed by a GM. It is possible that another player accidentally picked up your clue. If so, it locks you out of it until the player discards that item.

It has happened before, but is usually rare.I'm going to ask my friends, other veteran players, if they came across this issue. It might take awhile as the game's down, but if I find something, I'll post here for you. The FINAL interaction with your nemesis happens at level 40 and is known as Nemesis Confrontation or NemCon for shortIt's a mission that matches you with 4 other players (Better to have a team pre-made) and you go through a lair where you fight through each members nemesis (Or a member from the communist group if one player leaves part way) one by one until you eventually end up against Shadow Destroyer. As for the disapearing mob glitch, don't need to worry about it. It doesn't really effect the game all that much. Bread is right, I overlooked the Nemesis Confrontation. You actually want to keep your Nemesis on for that, otherwise IIRC they replace him with a generic one. This might seem strange, but it's not forced teaming. It's not even really like a raid.

It's more like 'everyone, show off your stuff' as the content is not that difficult. We all get together, go through it quite fast not so much to grind Nemesis tokens faster, but kind of to show off our awesome builds, then we all face off against each other's Nemeses. And you get a pretty cool final boss battle. It's a bit of a party, while fighting evil. Originally posted by:Bread is right, I overlooked the Nemesis Confrontation.

I was just logged in with my level 40 to see if someone wanted to do nemcon when in genchat someone was asking for a few member to do nemcon! So we teamed up with 3 other players. It was pretty fun, as it was one big 'BLAST EVERYTHING!' Mission. It was fun to see other players type 'mine' when their nemesis was the one to get pummelled. What made have made it cooler is if the nemesis took a few seconds to say something like 'I don't know how you got here JetHawk, but I'll pile your bones right nxt to those of your new friends!.Now that its done I wonder though when I can make my new nemesis?

I don't know what happens next, but I'm already level 40 with this character and there are few 'missions' left that he hasn't done. ITs not like I get XP for them. I'm ready for a new foe. Cool, yeah, Nemcon is good times all 'round. Now onto your question.Your Nemesis has broken out of jail, joined Dr. Destroyer.then there's a number of random missions left, with minions, clues, etc. You have to finish all of those and those are randomly generated, so it's not obvious where you are.

If you continue playing with that character and follow through with all the clues, it'll naturally happen. If you really want to accelerate the process, you need to collect dropped Health/Power/Buff Orbs to trigger Minions appearing. Traditionally, we'd go to that place where James Harmon IV is giving his speech, there's a bunch of chairs, we blow up those chairs to drop said Orbs. There's a cooldown between how often they appear (I think it's like 6 to 12 hours or something). After 1 of those missions (and it happens for me and my friends it almost always takes place on Monster Island) your current Nemesis will simply be 'parked' away in the Nemesis Creator thingy and you'll be prompted to create a new one. It kinda looks like how you have different Costume Slots in the Tailor's, now you have 1 new Nemesis slot. Now, I understand you want a change of Nemesis, but in the future, you actually have an option of 'renewing your vows' with your current one if you so wish.

Check your neme database to see if your neme is 'in jail' if its in jail then u can make a new neme. If its not in jail then its still active and u just have to wait till a clue to drop to get another mission while u are in MC go to where harmon is in downtown where he is buy a bunch of chairs. If u destroy the chairs over and over again the clue has a greater chance to drop. Its faster then just waiting for it to drop. Also remember once u complete a neme mission there is the 6 hour cool down untill u can get another clue. Also remember sometimes the clues dont drop and u have to go to defender or to the police captain (where u get the oringal mission) to get a neme mission.

At last I got a nem clue drop. I did repeatable missions in Vibora Bay out in the open hoping the minions would show up. A lot of them to be honest, right when I was fighting a swarm of vampires. I honestly thought I was going to faceplant just from the number of enemies, but I lived.

So I went to monster island to fight my nemesis about some drug he was using to make super monsters or something. He escaped, so I imagine I have to do this process again to get to lockiing him away for good.In a way that doesn't annoy me.it will only make stopping him for good feel better.
